Through Sharon's Journey
As a child growing up in the Alton Park Community of Chattanooga we were a very loving community. Even though we didn't have very much money we had love for each other. Every Christmas I would always tell my mother to buy me a nursing outfit so I could be a nurse, and act like I was caring for someone. Back then I would watch TV and I saw my First Black Nurse on TV that look like me and she took care of her little boy Corey, and the nurse name was Julia, and as a child I wanted to be just like her, a Loving and Caring Person that helped others.

So my caring for other started at a young age of 6yrs old. So I began to grow into a young adult my love and caring for other people never changed. When anyone would ask me what I wanted to be it would always be I want to be a nurse. The Road was not so easy, because I was a single parent for most of my time as a young adult with 2 small babies at the age of 18, it didn't look like my dream was going to come though as a nurse or anything positive But I want to Show you how God Can Turn Your Life around to be Positive and help other to know they can do it as well. I went on to Work for Parkridge Medical Center from the age of 18 as a CNA, and went back to School at Erlanger Medical Center and completed my nursing in 1984 as an RN, and work as the Assisted Head Nurse on the Oncology Unit, and the Charge Nurse in Day Surgery for 11 years with the day to day of operation of our unit. I said all that to show you never give up on your dream! So this is the reason for this site if " I Can do It,You Can Do It"!
I want You to invite your Family Members and Friends, Co-worker and people in your church and community to walk with me though this maze of life with www.sharoncares.com to find out where I am, and what I am doing on this journey called Life!
